DAYDREAM

This is a painting of my college roommate, Sara, and I. It was conceived about 8 years ago, but I didn't paint it until recently. In the bottom picture, we are in our room-the top is our daydream. The house we are standing in front of is the 'Loveshack' from the B52's video. Their tape was played often in our dorm room, and I always loved that little house. The things around us were common, well loved objects in our room. The blue background was our favorite tapestry.
